Impeachment proceedings are again active against South Africas President Cyril Ramaphosa over the 2020 “Farmgate” scandal. The Farmgate scandal was an event where President Cyril Ramaphosa had what he claims was approximately 480,000 dollars stolen from a couch on one of his properties. There are reports indicating the amount stolen from within the couch were closer to 4 million dollars. President Ramaphosa claimed he had gotten the money from the sale of a buffalo.
